Changing the way the lumber industry gets organized

The son of a lumber and building material (LBM) manager, Bradley Hartmann was born into the construction industry. His first job was in a lumber yard and by the time he graduated high school, he was a carpenter's apprentice. Upon graduating college, Hartmann joined Pulte Homes, where he built over 1,000 homes before transitioning into an area purchasing role. After 11 years at Pulte, Hartmann launched his own training and consulting firm, Bradley Hartmann & Company, helping the LBM industry sell more at higher margins.

Working with more than 100 sales teams in the building materials industry led to the insight, that virtually none had a disciplined, quantitative approach to organizing and evaluating each rep's sales pipeline. Hartmann created the solution, The Simple Sales Pipeline®, an app to help sales teams organize and value any sales rep's roster of customers and prospects in under 30 minutes.
